IE9 beta has been launched, you can download it from here. It seems to have come up with some amazing new features like like hardware acceleration, web pages load more faster, new features like pinning favorite websites to taskbar, aero snap and html5 support has been added to it.

Ctrl + T : New Tab
Ctrl + Click : Open link in new tab
Ctrl + K : Duplicate Tab
Ctrl + Tab or Ctrl + Shift + Tab : Switch between tabs
Ctrl + (1 to : Switch to a specific tab corresponding to the tab number
Ctrl + 9 : Switch to last tab
Ctrl + Alt + F4 : Close other tabs
Ctrl + W : Close Tab
Ctrl + N : New Window
Ctrl + Q : Quick Tabs

Alt + Left arrow : Back
Alt + Right arrow : Forward
Alt + D : Highlight Address bar
Esc : Stop loading page

Phiên bản trình duyệt thế hệ mới của Microsoft sẽ xuất hiện hôm nay nhằm giành lại thị phần đã mất vào tay Mozilla Firefox và Apple Safari.

Thị phần IE giảm từ hơn 90% cuối năm 2004 xuống còn chưa đến 70% trong quý I/2009 theo thống kê của Net Applications. Trong khi đó, Firefox đã vượt ngưỡng 20% còn sản phẩm của Apple cũng chiếm 8% thị trường trình duyệt.

Giám đốc điều hành Microsoft Steve Ballmer nhận định trình duyệt luôn đóng vai trò then chốt trên hệ điều hành, do đó họ bổ sung nhiều tính năng mới nhằm đảm bảo vị trí của Internet Explorer. Người sử dụng đã thử nghiệm IE 8 Beta khoảng một năm nay trên cả Windows 7, Vista và XP.

Tháng trước Google, Mozilla và Opera phản đối việc Microsoft lợi dụng sự thống trị của họ trên thị trường để tích hợp trình duyệt vào Windows. Microsoft mới đây khẳng định người dùng hệ điều hành thế hệ 7 có thể tắt IE 8 để dễ dàng bật các trình duyệt khác hơn.

Người sử dụng Windows có thể tải IE 8 trên website của Microsoft vào chiều nay hoặc chờ bản cập nhật qua hệ thống update tự động.
